All assessment are held at the training school.
They last between 1hr or 1hr 30 with multiple dogs
Sometimes assessments will end earlier if your dog becomes tired.
During the assessment we will evaluate your dog and its behaviour, and talk about training options, goals and realistic expectations .
If relevant paperwork is not sent back before your appointment it will be cancelled.
One to one training sessions will follow on from a assessment at the school.
Dogs without a assessment will receive a immediate cancellation.
To reschedule a appointment 48hrs notice will be required.
If a appointment is cancelled in the 48hr period you will not receive a refund
Before attending vaccinations MUST be sent to the school or your booking will be cancelled with a £2.50 processing fee.
Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before class and no later than 5minutes
dog etiquette is vital in group training sessions
A training plan will be put together if your trainer believe you and your dog are suited to one
this will given to you during your session.
The Cornish dog school has the right to not provide every dog a training plan.
Refunds will not be given once you have attend your assessment or lesson. .
Same day cancellations will not be refunded. Same day rescheduled appointments will be cancelled and a refund will not be given.
Refunds will not be given if you decide to re home/ return to breeder/ move out of the area
Cancellation and refund for medical documentation must be provided in writing
Refunds before 72 hours will be provided wilth “no questions asked” £2.50 processing charge will be added If you have entered into a training program and decide to not carry on with remaiming sessions a refund will not be given.
Only the owner of the dog can participate at the Cornish dog school. This is for the welfare of the dog, misreprentation course will be cancelled no refund.

Following the Cornish dog school training program , using the Cornish dog school volcablulary and training consistant training and on going guidance. Follow up training sessions. Most importantly the time YOU into your dog training between sessions.
Before your assessment a dog trainer will speak to via email. If you misrepresent your dog behaviour your lesson/ assessment will be cancelled and you will not be refunded
If your dog does not not arrive at the school with correct equipment suited your dog your lesson will be cancelled you will not receive a refund dog with a bite history must be muzzled leads and collars must be fitted correctly if you are unsure please contact the school before arrival

Abusive or aggressive behavour will not be tolerated at the school.
Dogs unrinating or fouling on equipment or trainer will not be accepted , your trainer will be in their full rights to end your appointment with no refund.
Bites nips towards your trainer will also not be tolerated and your trainer has the right to end your appointment.
Failure to clean up after your dog will result in our “no return policy”
in the event your trainer is poorly or cannot attend you will be offered a full refund or reschedule option

Dogs that are out of control lunging , biting, nipping running loose during a group session will be asked to leave. DOG ON DOG aggression WILL NOT BE TOLERATED IN A GROUP CLASS
Puppies must be double jabbed and microchipped before attending the school
Health Policy Due to some dogs being carriers of certain transferable infectious illnesses, and to protect all dogs in our care, we require all dog owners to follow this updated protocol: Completed series of all standard vaccines and current boosters.
Recent de-worming.
Ongoing monthly flea and tick prevention.
Recent vet visit for (a) complete physical, (b) skin check-up (staph infections, sarcoptic mange, mites, lice, ringworm, fleas, ticks, severe hot spots, etc.) and (c) fecal lab test to rule out intestinal challenges like giardia, coccidia, and other contagious parasites.
Female dogs in heat are not allowed in the training facility or in any group classes for the full duration, usually a minimum of 21 days. No exceptions.

All classes and group session will be cancelled when we receive a met office warning .
